Anomalies or not?

Hello,
For an X share, the ‘Capital invested (since the first transaction)’ widget returns a result that does not correspond to the capital actually invested.
The result corresponds to the capital invested including brokerage fees BUT minus the dividends received and any tax.
For a Y share that you have sold at a loss, the same widget returns the positive value of the amount of your loss as the capital invested.
Are you making the same observations as I am?
And do you understand the logic behind this approach?
Thank you.

Yes (the capital invested is money put in minus money taken out). So the answer to the question in the title, “Anomalies or not?”, would be: Not.

There is a manual, by the way, and a search for the forums.

Thank you Chirlu for your feedback, which calls for 2 comments on my part:
1° On share X, I have not made any withdrawals and the dividends are still in PP.
2° I’m interested in the manual on the forum but I must not have looked hard enough and I can’t find it. If you have a link to it, that would be great.
Thank you very much.

But not in the share. When you look only at the share, they have been withdrawn.

The manual: https://help.portfolio-performance.info/

OK! Thanks chirlu. I think I need to read this manual to understand the various concepts better.

I followed your link (with 2 browsers) and unfortunately the reference manual menu displays empty pages:

Is there something I haven’t done?

Sorry for the inconvenience …
I chose English as my language, switched to dark mode and now I can see the pages … Curious !!!

OK, thank you :+1:
