Decimal errors in market value calculations

I’ve noticed that when calculating at market value, the decimal portion of some numbers is incorrectly retained to the tenths place, but some numbers are just retained to the hundredths place. I don’t know if it’s a bug and what to do about it

The second example from your screenshot seems to be entirely correct: 25710370,59×1,0485 = 26957323,563615

For the first one, before we look into possible rounding issues, please verify that there are no hidden decimals in the numbers. When you move the mouse pointer to the number of shares, e.g., a tooltip should appear showing the exact number of shares, which may have up to eight decimal places.

@chirlu Thank you very much for your answer, but I find that the problem still exists. I’ve set the number of decimal places to display to 6 decimal places

Yeah, it’s a rounding issue caused by your large numbers. I looked it up, and the market value is being rounded to 10 decimal places, so the “2”, being the 11th digit, no longer fits.

Thanks! How should this be fixed? Although it doesn’t affect the returns when selling, when analyzing the monthly returns, there is always some decimal error.

Yeah, well, the error is 0,00000001% … Perhaps you can live with it?
