Why does PP do not support automatic dividend tracking?

Im using the portfolio manager of investing dot com website which is limited but does the job. The problem is, an insane amount of ETFs are missing so I wanted to finally try to learn PP, but since I am insanely lazy about it I ended up finding yahoo finance which has basically all ETFs and stocks I would need. Now the problem is, it does not have automatic dividend tracking, and it also lacks proper charts and graphs which is nice to have. So I thought okay then, I must then finally learn PP, but then I’ve just read how PP has no automatic dividend tracking. My question is: why?

Why is it so difficult to point PP to a source and have it read the incoming dividend payment and just store it and keep accumulating the dividends that you recieve? I do not want to have to spend time keeping track of all dividend sources and enter them manually.

PP can be connected to DivvyDiary. This will give you Ex and Valuta Date and the value per Stock.
But this does not replace to either import the dividends booking or create them manually.

Further automation does not make much sense, due to possible incorrect or missing data and FX rates.

This is an open source project where people do spent their free and spare time. If you don’t want to spend your time for incoming money, why do you want others to spend their time?
