Your message is undoubtedly very clear, but the translation is not at all. I don’t see what needs to be done. Could you please guide me and tell me where to modify the history…
If I understood your penultimate message correctly, if we delete the quotes, Yahoo downloads them again. I deleted the quotes and Yahoo did indeed download them again.
I want the correct quotes, not the false ones from Yahoo. How can I get the correct quotes?
From our exchange, I gather that my configuration is correct but that Yahoo’s quotes for iShares Bitcoin ETP are partly incorrect.
You will have noticed that the quotes between October 10 and 20 are identical, even though Bitcoin has clearly moved during this period.
From your last message, I understand that we have to wait for Yahoo to correct the errors (which could take a long time) or enter them manually, provided we can find them on the internet.
The PP quotes (built-in) seem correct but stop at October 20. This means that for October 21, there will be no updates throughout the day… And I don’t like that at all.
They are not published yet, most probably, for this provider.
Just need to wait.
If you want some real time information, I don’t think PP is the right tool for this at it considers only one cotation per day.
By the way you can search for another source (like an URL that provide the data in JSON) and configure it manually. If you want to have fresh information each time you manually update, don’t forget to configure the “Dernière cotation” tab, and not only the historic one.
Yes, current implementation of PP (built-in) does only show historic end of day quotes for free. In future, there might be also a paid version with intraday quotes.
As @octy already mentioned, you can set different quote provider sources for historic and intraday.
Personally, I use PP (Built-in) for almost all securities as source for historic quotes and Yahoo for most intraday quotes. This very well, at least for me.
Since I started using PP, all my securities have Yahoo as their quote provider and my portfolio updates automatically throughout the day (I can’t say how often) and when I want an update, I click on Online>Update Quotes and my portfolio updates based on the latest quotes.
This one looks good, but I cannot know it provides or not real time values. You’ll need to test tomorrow.
Alternatively, I found this set of APIs. The “Intraday Historical Stock Price Data API“ one might correspond to your needs, on some exchanges you can have update every minutes. You need to register to have an API key to use it, but free plan offers 20 API calls per day (one intraday request needs 5 calls), so you can update 4 times a day for free. Not sure it matches your needs.
Sinon, j’ai trouvé cet ensemble d’API.
I realize that it won’t work as PP do not take in account time but only dates, so intraday values are useless. But this page also also API for historic you can use, but still same open question, not sure it is updated live during the day.
