1 security in 2 portfolio's

I keep my portfolio and my wife’s portfolio in 1 file which works fine.

We keep the same securities in our portfolio, is it correct that I have to make 2 securities for each fund? 1 for my portfolio and 1 for my wife’s portfolio? If I only use 1 I can not see the difference in the taxonomies because it can only be assigned to 1 security?

Hey sanookh,

that is entirely correct. However, you should think about carrying two separte PortfolioPerfomance files. But your way would work as well.

Thanks for your reply. Splitting into 2 files is not a practical solution for me, so I keep it like this.
