Adjustment in Weekend Price Display for Non-Trading Assets

I’ve noticed that assets like stocks (which don’t trade on weekends) still display price movements from Friday on weekend. For example, if a stock moved +2% on Friday, that same percentage is visible on Sunday.

For better accuracy, I’d prefer to see 0% change on non-trading days (like weekends or holidays) instead of carrying over the last trading day’s movement. This would more realistically reflect that no trading activity occurred.
Is there an option to change this behaviour?

Last trading day as reporting dimensions is very precisely. And weekend is usually not a trading day, so last trading day is of course Friday in case of Monday.

Seeing price movements in a stock on my screen on Sunday can be misleading. I prefer to see 0%.

Ah, and on Monday you would like to compare against Friday? But in case of mutual funds the day before yesterday vs the day before except weekend? If you are able to define a common rule, kindly share your ideas with the developers.

Where are you seeing them? The diagrams stops on the last trade day. The dimension is last trading day, also very precise like @Rafa answered. In my opinion you are misunderstanding informations, but that isn’t a program failure.

Table view in Statement of Assets sometimes shows data from yahoo over the weekend. But as you said, this doesn’t effect any diagrams.

As far I can tell Morningstar, Yahoo et al would report the +2% stock movement on Friday for the duration of the weekend. If PP reported anything else its likely to cause confusion.
