Hello, Any reasons why share price updates are so slow, I login to portfolio performance and my login is accepted but then it takes half an hour to get updated prices? or should be using a different source of price?

What is your error log saying?
Well for today its full of errors even though the login was ok, Mon Jun 15 12:49:52 CEST 2026
[PortfolioLog] 404 Not Found → https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v8/finance/chart/BCN.L?lang=en-US®ion=US&corsDomain=finance.yahoo.com but some days the correct prices are returned
Log-In belongs to the built-in provider, while your error message belongs to yahoo.
Anyway, the 404 errors are the reason why quote updates are taking long.
its not every item, are there more reliable sources for price quotes?

The token has a validation time, not sure how long exactly, but no daily/weekly login is needed.
I see what you mean there are a few for same, I choose euro paris in preference, but also found data is only available say from frankfurt
Are you sure that JSON comprises a valid ticker symbol? From what I can tell ‘BCN’ isn’t used at LSE, though ‘BNC’ is assigned to Banco Santander, S.A. The JSON worked for me with ‘BNC.L’
