I have a question regarding the bulk import of historical quotes via csv.
I manage several securities where I initially load an estimated end-of-month price via CSV. In the following month, I need to replace (overwrite) that estimated price with the definitive one for the previous month.
Currently, when I use the “Securities” csv importer to load new prices (for multiple securities at once), it seems to only ADD new price quotes. If a price already exists for a given date, the import does not affect that price.
Is there a way to OVERWRITE existing historical prices for multiple securities in bulk during the import process? Such an option would be incredibly useful.
In alternative, would be possible to bulk delete all quotes for a selected list of securities at once? This would let me clean the old data before reimporting the whole updated CSV with definitive prices.
Currently, having to delete quotes security-by-security makes the process very time-consuming.
