Capital gains in % from stocks in different securities accounts

Guys, the software is great but I can’t figure out this:

I split my stock securities in two “security accounts” . They are both in the same PP-file.

can I see the capital gain % of them seperately? Or do I need to make two PP-files tot accomplish this?

One possible way is: statement of assets (add the columns you like) and then filter for the security account in the top right corner:

I tried it, but it never show the gains % in total, only for the stocks seperately.

Do I miss something?

Hello, if I am not mistaken :

  • In PP, the performance metrics defined at Securities Account level are the IRR and the TTWRR. Those you can definitely get for each Securities Account.
  • For individual security there are IRR, TTWRR and also the “absolute performance %”. And if you have a Security A held across several Securities Accounts you can restrict the performance of Security A to the account of your choice.
  • But the “absolute performance %” is not defined at Securities Account level.

Look at Reports, Performance, Dashboard. You can add widgets with key indicators for each security account data series. Maybe @AndreasB can give us some insight why we can’t just filter the whole dashboard by portfolio and reference account.
