Please explain how to enter a cryptocurrency swap.

To register a cryptocurrency swap, you should follow these steps:

• Record a “sell” of Crypto A.
• Record a “buy” of Crypto B.

Ideally, the Credit Note (Buy) should match the Debit Note (Sell) in economic value.

Please note that this procedure may lead to inaccurate calculations of realized capital gains, as it assumes both a conversion to FIAT currency and a sale that, in reality, never occurred.

Hello,

I am reactivating this need to make swaps between cryptocurrencies. Portfolio Performance is a fantastic tool, but I am seriously focusing on that point. Exchanging stable coins is a common practice and even recommended for tax reasons when conversions to fiat are taxed (which is the case at least in France). Is there at least one ongoing development on this point? To me that the Portolio’s only weakness.
