Hi - I´m New on the platform and like to make a portefolio at PP, but I have difficulties with making an import to PP at data from Nordnet - anyone that have control of this and can give me a hint on HOW TO? - I have checked the advice allready in the forum and also on YouTupe, but without cracking the nuts
I have added my mapping to this tread and also the error message I receive when I make the import.
Suppose that you wish to import two portfolio transactions: a sell of 2 shares of BASF in EUR and a buy of 3 shares NVIDIA in USD. Since we are using the EUR cash account in both cases, the transaction in USD must be converted into EUR. In this case, PP will handle this automatically because the NVIDIA security is listed in USD and the security account in EUR. Alternatively, you can designate the Currency Gross Amount column as USD . However, a more efficient workflow may involve defining the Cash Account , and eventually the Securities Account . This prevents the import from defaulting to standard accounts, such as broker-A and broker-A (EUR) in this case.
Hope that helps (I’m not using csv-import often, and I’m not using different currencies)
It seems like you are in Denmark. I am in Norway, my csv might look a bit different. But here is how I assign it:
NN
PP
Bokføringsdag
Date
Transaksjonstype
Type
Verdipapir
Security name
ISIN
ISIN
Antall
Amount
Totale avgifter
Fees
Beløp
Value
Vekslingskurs invers *
Exchange rate
* So, the exchange rate in the nornet csv is the inverse of what PP wants… So I open it in a spreadsheet-app first (apple numbers in my case), add a new column where I calculate =(1/vekslingskurs), and export as a csv again. Unfortunately an extra step…
I speak german, so my PP is set to german - maybe I got some column names wrong in english here.
I don’t assign any others.
I don’t use buy/sell but the ones that don’t need a cash account (don’t know it in english… “Einlieferung” and “Auslieferung” in german) - I don’t keep track of the cash on my Nordnet account.
Remember to add all the instruments first, and make sure they are set to the correct currency. (Maybe you know this already - I made the mistake and didn’t.)
Thanks Urnzi for your help - I have tryed some of you suggestions, but without getting control. But, I think the problem is different currency as it gives some trouble as I can read in the manual. I’ll do some more thinking and getteing some help in my network and if I found out how to make it correct I will drop a message here in the thread. Thanks :-).
