I have an issue with currency converter and assets’ display in rubles.
There is no updates for rubles exchange rate in program:
So, I added new exchange rate CNY/RUB:
There is updated exchange rate for EUR/CNY:
When I use currency converter to convert USD to RUB, program uses convertion as on next picture.
How I can change program’s settings to use CNY/RUB and EUR/CNY instead of its current logic?
Well, beside it’s less helpful to post a Russian screenshot in a German/English focused forum, if you’re maintaining an exchange rate CNY/RUB it’s cannot applied for USD/RUB, because CNY is not USD.
By default most of exchange rates are with EUR. When I want to use converter for other currencies program uses two exchnge rates. In my example, it uses double conversion with EUR/USD and EUR/RUB because it doesn’t have USD/RUB.
The thing I need is a bit complex. For my situation there are should be 3 convertions: RUB/CNY, CNY/EUR and EUR/USD. It seems like there is no option to manage convertion algorithm for each currency pair.
It would be grate to have such option. Choose 2 currencies and set a list of exchange rates to use for their conversion.
As described at Historical Prices - Portfolio Performance Manual, you’re able to maintain any currency pairs as required. But your intended workflow is not applicable via PP.
