Perhaps I just don’t know where to look or how to set this up, but I am wondering if tables like these are available in PP, and if not, could they be added?
(I am in Canada and have CA and USA holdings, hence the exchange rate impact)

In /Reports/Performance there is the possibilty to add widgets to the dashbord. There are heat map widgets available. Maybe this is what you are looking for.
Thanks, I do have monthly and annual returns widgets installed. While I do like the view it provides, it does not contain the data I am looking for. IE Absolute change/gain/loss ($ amount) per day or month along with deposits, dividends, and exchange rate impact.
Statement of Asset’s can do all of the above but the exchange factor.
You need to add the respective columns.
In Statement of Assets, I can use Portfolio Time Machine to view a specific day in the past and yes, I can see the data I desire, except exchange rate impact. However, I cannot get it to display a table that shows multiple days in a single view as illustrated in the first image.
I also do not see any way in Statement of Asset’s to show a monthly summary as illustrated in the second picture I have posted.
If I am missing something, please help me out.
Thanks
PS I find these views very informative. All I am asking is if there is currently anyway to obtain these views, and if not, if the Devs would consider adding them as a widget or in some other way.
You can’t create the same look and feel.
But you can create for instance a capital gain for 1,2,3,4,5,etc days, what ever you like to define.
You need to define your reporting times (best to do so: open securities and than in the top right corner click the reporting time)
![]()
Go on new:
and define:
![]()
Personal hint: forget reporting on daily basis, volatility can cause fear.
Thanks for the details.
For now, I will continue to use 2 methods for tracking my investments. PP has a ton of great features, but so does my other method (Portfolio Slicer). Maybe someday I will find one product that does everything, but very grateful for both these products.
I have been monitoring the markets and my holdings on a daily basis for many years and never given into fear yet. Knowledge is power. Discipline is even more powerful.
