Hi all. Is there a way to get the % performance for a portfolio of stocks in statement of assets or “securities”. Currently it is only available in the dashboard of performance report. Thanks for your help. If it isn’t available, is it something that may come in the future ? Thanks all

In Performance / Securities, it is definitively not possible.
In Statement of Assets, not really but there could be some partial workaround:
-
For a single portfolio, yes, you can filter the statement of assets by portfolio. Then the line “Total” or “Sum” of TTWROR gives the total performance. You can add it several time for different period, and “today” is a period that can be selected.
(In case portfolio = securities account, then this filtered view is also what your already have in the Securities Accounts’s Statement of Assets dedicated tab.)
But, so this is only one portfolio at a time , this is not a list of all portfolio. -
For a list of portfolio, maybe a workaround would be to recreate your different portfolios in a dedicated Taxonomy and then select this taxonomy in the Statement of Assets. It can work in some cases but not always (if a security is held in different portfolio it does not work). But to be noted that performances of such “recreated portfolio in taxonomy” are then “before tax”.
Thank you so much. It works for the day and other periods (months and years). However, do you know how I can do it from the start of the portofio ? I have a P/L % for each stock but not for the portfolio. I only have the “Profit / Loss” amount but not%
Hello, when selecting a period, you can create one like “since day/month/year” so you can adapt it based on the start of your portfolio. It is not dynamically linked to data series so if yo change your first transaction date you have to adapt it.
Indeed only TTWROR, TTWROR (annualized) and IRR are available as % at ‘total’ level. For the other it is asked frequently (capital gain %, absolute perf %) but it seems there is concern about their meaningfulness/relevancy and formula to be used, so not added.
