Deposit Account Balance?

I love this app. I tried a dozen different apps and found nothing better than Yahoo Finance, was about t9o give up when I came across this wonderful program.

But I’m having a problem where the balances listed on the ‘deposit accounts’ page doesn’t match the actual balance. I thought I had made an incorrect entry so I started from scratch and the balance were correct, then when I save and reopen the portfolio file, the some of the accounts show an incorrect balance.

Why is this happening? I see there’s a menu option to fix balance discrepancy but I’m not sure why I need to use it or how to use it.

Create a copy of your file and try it with the copy.

I’m not sure what details I can provide. Why would the cash balance change without any new entries?

That’s the thing, PP doesn’t change anything, automatically. So there must be a user influence.

As this is a basic function, we can almost guarantee there is no bug.
