Error in "Historical Quotes" for stocks with a split

If a stock has undergone a split, the historical quotes seems to be wrong for all quotes leading up to the day of the split.
E.g.: Amazon split 20:1 on June 6 2022. The historical quotes before this date are a fraction of the actual price. This happens for any stock where a split event is registered. I don’t know if this has any practical implications.

I noticed when I made a “Transfer between accounts…” transaction for SONY, where the quote on the transfer date seems to picked up from the historical quotes. The transfer took place on Feb 26th 2024 and the stock split 5:1 on Oct 9th 2024.

It’s not clear for me what you did.

Did you performed a split in PP and selected to also split the prices in the action pop up and now they are wrong? Or did you pull new prices (in this case from which source) and there they are delivered “wrong”?

Yes, looks like @TomHH did a manual stock split and then loaded new historical quotes which are already post split.

For example Amazon:

USD124 divided by 20 and then divided again by 20 = USD0,31
