In the transaction menu, for a deposit account, just after “deposit” and “removal”, it would be handy to have a “new balance” feature : you would just enter a date and the new balance of your deposit account, and the program will automatically generate a deposit or a removal to fit this new balance, making a simple substraction from the last known balance.
It would be very useful for those who wants to globally track a deposit account in which they do not want to enter each granular transaction, but just want to follow the overall daily balance.
For the moment, I have to enter manually a deposit or a removal, making the substraction by myself.

I agree that this would simplify the tracking of my “net worth” - my understanding of PP is still limited, but so far it’s not very practical to use to this end. OP’s suggestion would make it at least a little easier
