Filtering by broker not working?

I would appreciate this forum experts’ opinion on whether the behavior I’m seeing is a genuine PP bug or functionality I do not understand.

Setup: Two brokers in a portfolio, each with its own cash account. Both brokers are in the same country/currency, all stocks are also in that country/currency. Several stocks were traded in both brokers, so there are transactions for stock ABC both in Broker A and Broker B.

A problem: “Statement of Assets” filtering is not working as expected when I switch the filter between showing only Broker A and only Broker B. Trades for security ABC are filtered as expected, showing only trades associated with Broker A or Broker B. However, the transactions tab always shows transactions for both brokers. Note that the same filtering in “Performance/Securities” works as expected – both trades and transactions are filtered by the selected broker.

Is this some logic in Portfolio Performance that I do not understand, or just a bug?

This is the expected behavior.

The idea behind: Statement of Assets gives you the combined view of all holding, including the possibility to use “Filter” based on your taxonomies.

Performance/Security is an individual thing compared to Statement of Assets.

Hope that helps to get the idea.
