Congratulations that you get it going
The Statement of assets shows (by default) the current value of your assets. The latest quote is 96,71. So you get a market value of 96.71 * 372.1169 => 35987.43
itm:
I should add that the capital gain didnāt correctly reflect the difference between the valuation when the transaction was entered (35,898.12) and the revaluation on the Statement of Assets (35,987.43). The actual capital gain should have been 89.31, but it was reported as 37.22 in the Performance report
???
The initial value is from the 20.5. At that date the quote was 96.61.
So the capital gain is calculated as
(96.71 * 372.1169) - (96.61 * 372.1169)
=> 35987.43 - 35950.21
=> 37.22
BTW: a quick way to check for problems when entering buys or deliveries, is to look at the diagram of you asset.
The buy (green triangle) should be on the price line.
Try to enter the number of shares and the total value of the transaction (not the share price).
PP will calculate the buy/sell prices correctly
