Hi everyone, I invested in a a fund which is not recognised by PP. However, there is a website showing the historical values in a table. I tried the “Historical price” / “Table on website” feature but it doesn’t work. Can it be for language reasons? My website is in French, I suppose “Dates” is ok but the closing value is called “Valeurs liquidatives”. Is it the reason why PP doesn’t recognise the table? Is there a workaround to make it recognise the table? For the moment, I did CSV-imports but it would be easier with automated updates…

This fund is rather recent, maybe it explains why it is not popular yet.
And by the way, I got the url above using the Inspector / Network on the original website. In the original website, the historical values are not directly available, the user needs to click on the tab “Valeurs liquidatives” to get access to the table.

I was considering creating my own basic web page, by collecting data from the aforementioned url and then building a new table recognisable by PP. I could then try using this new url into PP. Do you happen to know which format of data is required so that PP recognises them in the “Table on website” feature?
Not 100% sure, but I think it just need a correct html TR/TH/TD structure.

Could it be that the French headers are not recognised?
If you build your own side you may think about providing the data as json payload.
Regarding the french headers. Maybe @AndreasB has an idea.

Hi Rafa, thanks a lot for your suggestion. I confess I’ve no idea how to do that (I suppose only authorised persons can update the repository) but below is my proposition for French websites. Do you know anyone who could do that?
after row 203, add: DateTimeFormatter.ofPattern(“dd/MM/yyyy”)
in row 267, add: “.*vl.*”, ".*liquidative.*", "[Cc]l[oô]ture"
in row 288, add: ".*haut.*"
in row 311, add; ".*bas.*"
On Github everyone can contribute.
So technically you can give a try. In general I wonder how all other supported languages are dealing with this?
Wow, anyone can contribute, really?!? But how do you prevent people from introducing mistakes? As for me, I’m not a dev, I just have some basic knowledge. What if I do a mess? Well, it’s probably unlikely here since the changes I proposed are rather basic but I wouldn’t like ruining such a wonderful app! 
Everybody could contribute, but the last word is always with Andreas. So he will have a short look on it after you make a contribution. Hardest think is often to find the correct place. If you want, give it a try!
