Historical quote from last transaction

Sorry for all the questions as I start using PP.

I’m entering some old holdings, to have a complete picture, and I noticed that transaction price is not used as a historical quote? Wouldn’t it make sense to include the price at the time of the transaction as a quote?

It can make sense if you can’t get a time series of quotes. That’s why there is a function for it in PP.

I mean automatically take the transaction price and add it to the historical quotes without me having to do an extra step.
