I have few investment plans with a fixed amount of euros per month. My broker does not support fractional shares, so e.g. if I buy 800 EUR of a stock which is 101 per share, I buy 7 with an expense of 707. PP instead records automatically 7,92, and each month I have to change all the automated transactions with the exact number of shares.
Does PP support whole share buy?
No, not via investment plan.
So that means I have to edit them manually each time? Or is there any other option to do so?
You can try to import the pdf.
There is a heuristic in place which in case the booking got identified will override (adjust) the booking from the investment plan.
Just give it a try… when the booking is identified, you will see a yellow exclamation mark on the importer screen.
If yes, you got lucky, if no skip delete the investment plan and work with the importer only.
I have the same problem. I tried but i think the best solution is re-Edit it manually ( it cost some seconds because you have to modify the fields already created by PP).
