Negative deposit account value skewing calculations post import

I’ve imported my transaction history after some Excel-fu and the securities shares and market value are correct. However I have a substantial (80% of total portfolio) negative market value in my deposit account which is skewing calculations. How do I correct this please?

Please let me know if you need any more detail …

When you imported your transaction history, did that include the transactions that funded your security purchases? E.g. an initial lump sum or recurring deposits into your brokerage account.

I suspect it did not, but you can check by looking at your deposit account’s transaction history. Sort it by date, look for inbound transfers in the “Type” column, and follow the “Balance” figure to make sense of how transfers and transactions affected your balance.

If you find that you do not have any inbound transfers, you can right-click the deposit account and use “deposit” to add the funds with which the security purchases were made.

These sentences is contradiction in terms:

Did you check that the security currency and the source of historical price currency is the same? It could be that the security was configured as USD and historical quotef were refered to EUR.

Otherwise, kindly post a screen dump.

Thank you - when you put it in those terms that makes sense. My broker account was funded by a transfer from another provider and that must not have been included in their transaction export. I’ve added a deposit a day before my transactions began for the appropriate amount and that’s addressed it. Thank you so much for your swift help
