New: View for the price update status.
In the last version it was still “experimental,” now it’s active for everyone. The price update view provides a better overview to understand what is being retrieved and where. You can access it by clicking on the progress bar or via the “View” menu.
New: Configure which instruments should be updated after opening the file and periodically.
The settings now allow for more flexibility. On the one hand, you can configure whether prices should be retrieved periodically (I personally prefer to do this on demand). On the other hand, you can configure which securities prices should be retrieved for. With many securities, it may make sense to define a watchlist, for example. Securities with a current holding are always updated.
New: Menu to update only the prices of currently held securities.
In the menu as well, you can limit the price updates to securities with holdings or to a watchlist.
New: Daily performance bars in the chart now use different colors for gains and losses.
The bar chart for daily (or weekly) performance now supports two colors—depending on whether performance was positive or negative.
Improvements to import and export taxonomies
- New: Bulk import and export of classifications is supported.
- Improvement: When importing classifications, categories not present in the import can be removed.
- Improvement: When exporting classifications, the color of the root category is now also exported.
Taxonomies can be imported or exported via the menu.
The dialog also contains a new option: categories and assignments not present in the imported file can optionally be deleted.
Further improvements and bug fixes
- New: Savings plans now also support taxes for regular security purchases.
- Improvement: HTML import now ignores spaces in numbers that previously prevented parsing.
- Improvement: JSON price provider no longer fails if a price for a day is unreadable.
- Improvement: PDF imports have been updated for N26, Scalable Capital, Quirin Privatbank, KFintech, Trade Republic, and Flatex.
- Fix: Wrong exchange rate suggestions for bookings in foreign currencies are corrected.
- Fix: Corrupted bookings no longer prevent files from opening.
