How can I Enter and setting a new year in the annual overview (Performance)?
I understand you are in Reports (View), Performance.
Next to the gear icon to top right hand side is a drop-down arrow. Click the arrow, New and set Report Interval.
Ok, done but the new chart does not appear on the annual overview screen.

Assuming you want a chart in the Performance Dashboard second column: Right-click at the bottom of the column, New Widget, Performance, Performance Chart.
You could use a screenshot to explain what you are trying to achieve. In Help, Welcome there are two Sample files, perhaps use Kommer.
