This feature would appeal to users who need a quick and easy way to capture personal notes directly within the app. The concept is straightforward: provide a space where users can jot down notes without any unnecessary complexity. This could be particularly useful for recording brief observations or important details, such as:

“Company X presented results on dd/mm/yyyy. The results were good, but… bla bla bla.”

There are notes for each security and transaction. I use a notes file in the same folder as the PP file but it would probably be easy enough for you to add a notes section directly into the xml file.

I was thinking more on a global notes no focus on a instrument.

Then you likely will be much better served by one of many existing note-taking solutions (separate apps/services). PP is already complex and hard to maintain, while still missing a lot of functionality related to investment tracking, so adding generic unrelated functionality doesn’t make sense.
