Is “Refund Swiss witholding tax” paid in different currency as the security in PP, like in the case you provided in Oct. 2022?

The issue is for all the dividend payments pdfs and some of them are same currency as security in PP, some are not…

I’ve adjusted the importer to support that particular PDF. I’m not sure if that will work for all PDFs, so you might provide some more examples. Next time please use the “unformatted text”

VIAC classifies them all as “dividend payments” and then further sub category is either (i) “Ordinary dividend” or (ii) “Refund Swiss withholding tax” as you can see in copies above. The error I was describing earlier goes for both subcategories.

It seems that the error disappeared with latest version for @Deleroy - it seems his files were in German, while my are in English - could this be what’s causing the issue?

I know, my question was pointing into a rather different direction. PP knows different transaction types and I’d like to know if that particular PDF should be (i.e. has been in the past) read as a dividend payment or a tax return? If the latter, I need to change my changes because at the moment, I let the importer process it as dividend.

Thanks @kimmerin - VIAC seems to classify both dividend payments and withholding tax refunds as dividend payments, which makes sense given the refund is related to previously withheld tax on dividend, which is being refunded.
