I gave this idea a shot for the desktop version: a dashboard widget “Performance per Year” that overlays the TWR of several calendar years on top of each other — one line per year, each starting at 0% on January 1st. This already exists in the mobile companion app (it used to even be its own dedicated “year in review” feature there before it got folded into something you now have to add manually as a dashboard widget), but it has never been available on desktop.

If you’d like to see this on desktop too: a 
directly on the PR (or a comment) helps the maintainers gauge how much demand there actually is. Feedback on the approach is very welcome as well!
