Hello,
Would there be a kind soul who could help me set up tracking for the FTSE All Cap Index?
After numerous attempts, I’m getting nowhere…
The screenshot shows that I’m on the London Stock Exchange, that the ‘Date’ column says ‘Close’, and that I’m only getting a single data point: 474.23 from 1 August 2014.
Thank you for your feedback.

Looks like yahoo has no data.
In order to help you, would you please provide the ISIN?!
@Sn1kk3r5
The problem is that I can’t find this ISIN. The symbol is GEISAC.FGI, which, when entered into PP, clears the selected stock exchange and gives you a single price – that of the current day (8 September 2026). If you select a stock exchange (e.g. London), the symbol changes to GEISAC.L and the only quote shown is that from 1 August 2014 … I’m at a loss …
Here we go:
This is the data for the current year:
URL: https://api.onvista.de/api/v1/instruments/INDEX/77783085/eod_history?idNotation=77783085&range=Y1&startDate=2026-01-01
Date: $.datetimeLast[*]
Price: $.last[*]
This URL goes back to 2020:
https://api.onvista.de/api/v1/instruments/INDEX/77783085/eod_history?idNotation=77783085&range=Y10&startDate=2020-01-01
Once you have downloaded them, please change the historical quotes to:
https://api.onvista.de/api/v1/instruments/INDEX/77783085/eod_history?idNotation=77783085&range=M1
There is no need to put more traffic than needed on the server.
I’ve successfully retrieved the 10 years’ worth of data… but I don’t have today’s figures. If I’ve understood correctly, api.onvista.de doesn’t provide quotes on demand, but only at the end of the day??
Your screenshot shows historical quotes, so I went with historical.
I must admit I’m not entirely familiar with the subject. Of the three indicators shown in the screenshot, I have three quite different sets of historical data…
@Sn1kk3r5
Hello,
What changes would I need to make to your settings to get today’s exchange rate?
Thank you
For recent quotes use:
URL: https://api.onvista.de/api/v2/indices/77783085/snapshot
DATE: $.quote.datetimeLast
Price: $.quote.last
Hello
I’ve copied your settings into the ‘Latest quotes’ tab.
I waited until this morning to check if it was working properly, and today’s percentage is OK.
Thank you.
