updating from:
Version: 0.57.2 (Apr 2022)
Platform: win32, x86_64
Java: 11.0.12+7-LTS, Azul Systems, Inc.

That’s about 34 versions … Perhaps you’d better install the current version from scratch.

google chrome is one of the most frequently updating piece of software I have, and it has 18 releases between Apr 2022 and now

34 releases in the same timeframe is the exact reason, I disabled auto check/update thing in the first place  (also disabled in chrome)

I of course can manually re-install (hoping nothing in the same/xml format has no breaking changes) but this error “public key not found” actually looks buggy.

I strive for PP to still be able to read the XML created with the very first version 11 years ago. If that does not work, it is a bug and let me know.

Possibly. Maybe the Eclipse installer check signatures but the key has expired by now. First time it is reported

Definitely a very bad idea to not update a browser.
