Hello, so I think I’ve figured it out. But I cannot understand why is that.
So basically I’ve noticed change in the purchase value in Securities view when changing the period. And dividends are calculated based on this changing purchase value (not the original one that is shown in Statement of Assets view).
So I’ve checked some forum questions about purchase value and I’ve found that it changes. If the reporting period is shorter than stock holding period (you’ve bought before 2 years but your reporting period is 1 year) the purchase price will not be the real one but the stock quote. For example: you buy 2022, today is 31.01.2024 and your reporting period is 1 year, your purchase price will be the quote on 31.01.2023.
At the same time in Statement of Assets view, there is no period to select, that is why purchase value shows the original one but div% for 1 year, calculates the percentage based on the stock price quote on the same day exactly before one year.
@chirlu said that this is intentional.
Can someone explain me why? I think this way div percentage in Statement of Assets view is a bit misleading.
