What is the goal of weights when I need to allocate the correct amount?
In my portfolio I have a group of bonds, that contains 5 different ETF’s. The allocation for the entire group is set to 26.58% of my portfolio. I want to be able to set the allocation per ETF within the bond group to a percentage, so that the rebalance calculation works correctly. However that is not possible and if I assign the percentage to the ‘weight’ column the total portfolio value is decreased.
I want to be able to granular set the allocation per ETF within a group, where the weight for each is 100%. How can I do that?
