In case it’s still of interest: No, it’s only present on Ventura. Running Sequoia here and still running into the issue. So it still hangs/freezes occasionally while editing cells in-line. Very annoying, to say the least, especially if you haven’t saved before.
I also noticed it seemingly happen during drag-and-drop operations. In my case, either dragging securities into various taxonomy folders or just sorting them.
It’s suggested in this German thread that fast editing triggers this more reliably. Seems to be the case for me as well.
An issue with Eclipse on Github has been created by abuchen. Unfortunately, this was in August 2023, and it looks like nobody wants to take this on. I see many issues in the Eclipse UI Platform backlog and simply cannot imagine this being taken on anytime soon..
So if somebody knows about Eclipse UI Platform and macOS Cocoa… your help would be seriously appreciated. I am happy to help out with testing, feedback, etc.
