Some securities charge regular fees. E.g. Xetra-Gold ETC, DE000A0S9GB0.
Each quarter Xetra-Gold ETC, hold in a securities account, charges a (e.g.) 0.1% fee. These fees are charged by bank from corresponding deposit account.
Where is no way to reflect this kind of transaction in PP.
As such expenses are not reflected in the trade profit/lost calculation (per trade / position /security), and other related calculated values.
Now, I am booking such a fee on the deposit account, this cause fee to be reflected correctly on depot level, but missing on trade level.
(I suppose , that a reverse operation - a “Fee-Refund” should be possible to book to, but for now I do not have case for this.)
I seen it. It is a different case.
No shares are sold in my case. Only fees collected.
You can’t sell 0 (zero) shares in PP to book a fee.
Over time rising fees decrease profits on trade.
PP is unable to reflect this case on trade level.
E.g.
When you hold DE000A0S9GB0 you pay a fee quotely. The security DE000A0S9GB0 chareges this fee directlly through bank/broker.
These 3.20$ PP is unable to represent correctly ON TRADE LEVEL, because you can’t book a fee without buying or selling some shares. (Buying or selling ZERO shares is also impossible.)
You are right, you can book it! I tried it (latest PP).
BUT the fee is reflected only on account level, not on trade level, especialy performance numbers.
